What's inside

When you purchase an Awesome Google Sites Template, you'll receive a link that will give you access to:

• Google Sites website file
• Folder with images used to build this theme
• Free theme updates when they happen (the file will update, but the link will be the same)

After the purchase

When you get the link to the file, follow these steps:

1. First, copy the Google Sites file to your Google Drive. Right-click on the file and hit "Make a copy" in the drop-down menu. Now you truly own your copy.
2. Copy all images or Google Forms files (if the theme uses Google Forms) you might need. You can skip this for images, but be careful with the Forms.
3. Edit the content of the Google site. Change the title, headings, body text, images. Create new pages, add them to the main navigation or hide them. Use Copy&Paste to duplicate content: containers, blocks, formatting. (How to)
4. Link to your book on any marketplace. Google Sites don't let us sell files (not yet), so in order to let your visitors buy your book, you'll have to link to a place where it can be purchased. To Amazon, for example.
5. Change the color palette. You can do it in the "Themes" section. The color will apply to all pages and elements.
6. Check SEO. Each page has "Properties." You can change the URL (or custom path) there. Make sure it looks the way you expect.
7. Add (or change) "Brand images" in the main "Settings." Add Logo and Favicon for better branding.
8. Add Google Analytics in the main "Settings." You know why. (How to)
9. Add a banner in the main "Settings" if you need one. It's a simple sticky CTA with a link. (How to)
10. Add a "Custom domain" in the main "Settings." You can purchase it from any registrar or from Google Domains to stay in the Google ecosystem.
